All I want to say is that you and your husband need to

figure out what YOU want for your life, the grass is always greener on the other side. If you make a decision just because "your parents want you to", I can tell you now that you will later regret and have to pay a hefty price to rectify.

Based on the little information you provided, you are 35+ and probably don't have much work experience, if I dare to be brutally honest with you, you can still have a good and long career here in the States, but in China, your prime time is already behind you.

Have you considered the education for your kids? Your parents are probably so disconnected from the reality out there, but you will face it one day.

It's your life, not your parents', so take control.  Good luck!
