糊涂了。难道我根本就没有I797A? 但是我有H1B生效的日期啊?
8大师：我怎么知道是信件丢了没有收到I797A， 还是根本移民局就只给了我I797C，要求我使馆签?

-As I said before, you just bring your I-797C (had better original one, not photocopy) to apply for the H1 visa to come back and just show your I-797C to the CBP officer at the port of entry to get your new H1 I-94 when you return to US using the neww H1 visa. The I-797C has the same function as the I-797A in this matter because these two have exact the same words (copy each other). Also the US Consulate in China can find all of your H1 approval information in their system. So, don't worry.

还有，预约使馆电话的时候，好像他们要I797A的。我真的要告诉他们信丢了，还是
出示I797C的原件就行了.

我们这个银行的律师差的不得了，只告诉我耐心等待I797A。我怀疑他根本就不懂.
