回复：B1/B2签证的在美子女上学会影响绿卡申办么？

我的儿子现在在美国用的签证是B1/B2签证，到这里快2周了。我有绿卡，现在准备给他也办。但他还是旅游身份，不过这里一个高中没有对此的限制所以能去上。但以旅游身份上学会对几个月后的绿卡申办有影响吗？

-Don't think it will affect the GC application, but the problem is that you are the green card holder, not US citizen and if you sponsor your son's green card applicaiton, it will take several years for him to get the GC. He has to keep his legal non-immigration status for several years until he can file the I-485 and you have to consider how he can stay in US legally. If you file the I-130 form him now, he can not chnage his status to f1 due to immigration intent.
