非常感谢老师的快速回复，目前的问题是我老婆不想再给她的亲属做co-sponsor了（primary sponsor是他母亲，但是由于收入不够，所以让我老婆做co-sponsor。我老婆现在也想不起来她当时填的究竟是什么表格了，不过按照您刚才的解释，我的理解是她母亲当时填写的是I-864，我老婆当时填的是I-864A）

-As a co-sponsor, you wife has filed I-864, not I-864A. I-864A is for the family memeber living together with the primary sponsor such as spouse.

我老婆经过和我商量和自己思考后决定withdraw from the sponsorship,如果是这样的话，因为被担保人还在等排期（已经等了将近10年），如果USCIS要求补充材料（2010年我和老婆的tax return）而我们不愿意提供，那么被担保人的绿卡是一定不会批准吗？

-Your wife need to inform USCIS and the National Visa Center by writing (encolse a copy of the I-130 approval notice) to withdraw the I-864 if she does not want to be the co-sponsor anymore. Also your wife had better discuss it with her mother to find another co-sponsor. 

是会处于pending的状态还是马上就会被reject并且需要今后重新申请和排期？

-Not need 排期, the approved I-130 is always valid and the beneficial can reapply for the immigration visa when the sponsor has enough financial support.

另外，我们如果找到一个人想替代我老婆的位置，作为我老婆母亲的co-sponsor一起担保，此人需满足什么条件?

-Must be green card holder or US citizen.

亲属和朋友都可以吗？

-Yes.

他需要向USCIS提供什么材料？

-File another I-864.

需要填写I-864A对吗？

-Not this form.
