-If "抽到", your friend will have big trouble. But you may just ignore this kind of little probability. Also, you may try to find a job and do H1 transfer. Of course, if you do H1 transfer, your H1 transfer may be approved without I-94 due to your lack of recent paycheck stubs and thus, you need to go out of US to get the H1 visa to“激活”. Of course, if your friend will 发工资 in the near future (i.e. 2 to 3 months later), I do not think you need to worry anything at this point.
