Emma and Elle are both pretty girl names, I think for girls,

a pretty / sweet name is more important than a meaningful name:)) well, you can give her a meaningful Chinese name.

Well, I don't have kids yet, but I already have a girl and a boy name ready to go (English and Chinese version, haha)
