If you know "我若辞了，房子就成问题",I don't think you should quit your job. Try to find another job before you quit.

I am pretty much in the same situation but I did quit my job last week. But we bought a townhouse instead of a house in a good school district and of course the price is much cheaper. We could have bought a house over a million but I decide to stay home after we have a kid, so we bought a cheaper one instead.
