回复：问关于监护权

我和前妻离婚调解书中有这样一句：儿子由女方抚养，男方给女方XXX抚养费。

这是否说明，我就没有对儿子的监护权了？如果我为儿子办移民，还要转监护权？

我觉得由前妻抚养并不代表我失去了监护权吧？

-Your wife has the physical cusdity of your child. However, you still can sponsor your child's immigration visa application. But you have to get your wife's agreement for your child to live in US permanently before the immigration visa officer process your child visa application. Otherwise, your child will not be offered the immigration visa.
