还有一个问题是，我并没有完成目前master的program，因为我是quit，而不是graduate，所以没有拿到学位。也无法申请OPT。

那么这种情况下如果我的旧I20过期5个月之内，只要我拿到别的学校的I20就可以顺利转学吗？如果是的话，我现在就不用急着申请语言学校了，只要安心准备另外一个学校的PHD申请了，中间不用担心身份会出问题，是这样吗？谢谢。

-I think so because your I-20 expires and that means your program is finished even if you do not get the MS degree. Talk to your current school International Student Office about your plan when/before you leave the school because you will need them to help you to complete the F1 transfer later.
