我的绿卡明年三月正好四年九个月，而且我一直都在美国住着， 基本没动窝。 现在家里忽然有急事，需要回国，而且需要呆一段时间。我可以明年三月回来提交入籍申请吗？

-Yes as long as you do not stay in China for more than 6 months continuously. If you stay outside US for more thna 6 months continuously, your physical presence continuity will be disrupted.

还有就是，提交申请后要一直在美国等待吗？很着急，谢谢您的回答

-No, but you can not stay outside US continuously for more than 6 months until you get the US citizenship.
