我的配偶是公民。最近要面试，我在十年前（在一个很小的TOWN) 有个犯罪记录（SHOPLIFTING),被罚款$500 左右，在那以后我都没有任何不良记录。

我以前所有的 PAPER 也都没有说过自己有任何犯罪记录，

我的问题是：

1.这次绿卡面试我需要给移民官说吗？

-If they ask, just explain it. It is a very small case and not counted as "犯罪". If they do not ask, just ignore it.

2.可以隐瞒下去吗？查的出来吗？

-If you apply for US citizenship in the future, just report it in the N-400. Now just ignore it in the green card application.
