Wow, that is incredible!

I went to all three places, not during the fall though, so I didn't get to see any of these.

If I remember right, Keweenaw Peninsula has a rich history of copper mining. I was deeply touched after visiting a copper mine near Houghton, seeing how it used to be during active mining operation, and how it is now (closed and waiting copper price to go up so mining can be profitable again).
