I couldn't agree with you more. That is exactly what I wanted to say in response to 看风景的说法.
I do not remember who published the Chinese version trnaslated from the English edition. Was it Random House? If so, ha ha it was a case of taking off the pants to fart.
If it was a different publisher, the Chinese publisher must obtain permission from Random House. Right? If I were RH, I would sell the copyright to original Chinese mnauuscript for big bucks. That is the American way of doing business. Profit.
