loved to chew the books (teething). i bought some teether rings which she could rattle and enjoy.

peek-a-boo is fun to play. you could also try to play "hiding object", find a small toy and place a cloth to cover the toy. ask her where is the toy, then remove the toy and show her again. this teachers baby object permanence. very soon, your baby will enjoy the game and want to remove the cloth herself.
