-If she go out of US before the H1 approval, the pending H1 application (change of status from F1 to H1) will be automatically invalid. She may use proemium processing to get the h1 application approved before she leaves, so she may come back with an H1 visa or using AP. If she use AP to come back after h1 approval, her status will be AOS, but she still can work for the employer without using EAD until the h1 expires and she can re-instate her h1 status any time by getting an H1 visa, doing H1 extension or H1 transfer later.
