pjiang etc, please help explain, urgent and confused!

Hi, all the maestros,
I am really frustrated and saddened. Here is my case:
E1A I 140 approved: aug, 2003
E1A 485 receipt date: June, 2004
fingerprinting twice in 2005 and May 2008
NYC locally approval date: Oct, 2008
Actual green card never received, so called USCIS and talked to a supervisor on Dec. 23, 2008 and being told Texas center received my case on Dec. 1, 2008. He sent in a service request for me on that day. Today I got a notice from Texas center telling me I need to do my bimetrics at NYC and it may take them 2 months to set it up! After my 485 already got approved in Oct. 2008! what is wrong, what can I do? Can I do something aggressive again USCIS? IT IS DRAGGING ON FOR OVER 6 YEARS!
anybody had similar experience? why they want my finger print after my 485 was approved?
