work permit in nhs--to youngzhouniu

Hi, youngzhouniu. As you are working in NHS now. Do you think it is difficult to get it for Chinese? Do you have any exprience or hear any cases failed in the past? HR officer in nhs told there is about 9 weeks period to get work permit in nhs at the moment? I am a bit confused. It just took 1 weeks to have it.
