car break-ins happen quite often certain areas of Vancouver. Keep your valuables with you and don't leave anything visible.

Many major rental car companies allow same city airport return without drop off charge. But you always have to check with the rental car company to be certain. Some rental car franchise may not let you drop off at another location without a fee.
