WOW!! McCain in command and just what America needs. He had Obama on the defensive in reference to the economy.
From an x-democrate , wake up demos you still have no idea who Obama is b/c he himself doesn’t know. You can’t trust someone who befriends a domestic terrorist, Ayers, and all the other shady characters he associates himself with, votes 96 times for higher taxes, votes present instead yea or ney. How can you trust someone like that to lead our country????
McCain has shown his leadership throughout his career and is realistic for the future and tells it like it is and doesn’t hide, like Obama, behide phrases like the so call “scalpel” which is really simply a rubber knife to Obamas solutions.

Obama clearly won. McCain has had 26 years to influence a change, the only change he as consistently given is deregulation of banks to the point of financial crisis. I shutter do think what he would do with healthcare. I live in AZ and I can tell you we have No regulation around healthcare and one of the worst healthcare records in the country (and expensive to boot). If Arizona McCain’s model for the rest of the country we are all in trouble! McCain is a hero for what he did for this Country during the Vietnam War, but that does not give him entitlement to the Presidency.

While both candidates equally responded well, John Mc Cain stated his ideas specifically, clearly and articulately; Barak Obama continued to generalize. Mc Cain came across as “winner” in that he demonstrated that his experience will make him the better president.

McCain won, he is the man. Listening to Obama puttting the blame on everyone and dancing around Sally’s barn instead of answering the question, I felt like a mother listening to excuses from small children. Don’t blame your brother or your sister, and just what do YOU stand for. I still don’t know.
All I hear is rhetoric about what you are going to give, give, give and it isn’t going to cost anybody anything. How gullible do you think I am? Unfortunately a large part of the voting public are more than willing to look no further than the next promised hand out.

It appeared to me that if you are going to call this a town hall debate then there should be an equal number of people from both sides and they should be able to ask what they want and both canidates respond. But it appeared that too many of the questions were hand picked so that some critical questions about Obama were still not answered. (IT WAS BIASED AGAINST MCCAIN)

I think Obama is a smooth talker but doesn’t answer the questions. He says what he is going to do, but doesn’t say how.
I think McCain is definitely the best qualified man for the next president.
It really scares me to think that Obama might have a chance of getting to be president. His background and his ties to Islam are a sincere concern.
what Americans think about tonight's debate? (2)
