Respectfully disagree with you: To earn others' respect, we have

We, as a race, a nation, are learning and need to learn how to respect different opinions within ourselves. The most uncalled for thing to do is to question other opinion's intent regardless of the fact and logic. I believe everyone, regardless of their act and opinion, wants China to be a 1st rated nation. There shouldn't be a discussion of who is patriotic and who is not at all!
The difference is: the means to the end. Some of us believe that the goal, the end is the most important thing. We can do whatever, at any cost, as long as we achieve that goal. I disagree with that. To earn others respect, we as Chinese, need to respect ourselves first! If we just put up with all the crap within ourselves in the name of facing outside together, it may work temporarily, but not for long term. This same mentality has costed our people numerous lives and fortune, and basically, it's the tool that all evils want to utilize when they need followers!
How we do things to achieve our goal is everything! It defines us. Utill we truely love our own people and establish respect for EVERYONE within us, we are NOT going to earn TRUE respect from others!
