Can anyone discuss why Mao used 叶飞 and not 韩先楚 in the Jing Mun bombardment particularly when 叶 was no longer actively involved in the military at that time although he was the political commissar of Foochow Military Region (FCMR)? 韩 was the commander of FCMR.
