I agree with all the posts above. Hu is a good man but does not have the political wisdom and savvy to be a good leader, let alone be a great leader. Deng's major contriburion was getting rid of Hu as Mao did to Lin. I do not want to imagine what China would be like if Hu was the paramount leader up to present.
