Her comrade Wang Hai-jung didn't get married either. Those two privileged ladies were Mao's liasion between Mao and the Poliburo up until Sept/Oct 1975.
They were lucky that they switched loyalty to Deng in Mao's dying days. Otherwise, who knows, they could end up in jail after the fall of Gang of Four.
