I can't trust that report much either.

for example, the D's mood has always been "cheerful" (the best choice among 4) since day 1. I am pretty sure the first days and now back from holidays she is less than cheerful at the daycare, I can tell from her crying at the drop off.

However this is not to say that the teacher are lying. They are really nice and loving teachers, I guess they saw some smile and playing during the day then they call it a cheerful day.
