Why do you need to file another I-140? Your lawer is out of mind? If you want to inform USCIS about employer change, you can do it yourself. Just ask your current employer to provide a letter indicating your job title, resposibilities, etc. You also just write a cover letter indicating your have changed the employer and work in the similar field as before.

Also, provide all the required documents by the RFE. It is very simple RFE, and just send all the I-94 copies to USCIS. You do not need to waster your money to hire a lawyer (if he do not charge for this service, that is OK).
