约束 vs 自由创新.

There is clearly an inverse relationship between 约束 and 自由创新. We would agree that the highest human value comes from 自由创新, not from 约束. Of course, not all 自由创新 are valuable, and even some 自由创新 are of great value, at their initial stage, almost always create huge trouble. Put it in another way, There is a steep price for we need to pay for 自由创新.

The innovative financial instruments created over past decades are no exception. Many of them will be highly valuable after some refinement, or used with greater oversight. It would be a great mistake to kill the innovations with over-regulation just because it caused a huge trouble now. And I don't think US will make this mistake.
