不是我不明白，这世界变化快。

The first thing I noticed is the "will you marry me" from the home page. I thought somebody was sharing his/her wedding proposal story. So I click on that to go to this forum, and immediately I noticed that list of blogs in the left column. What's that about? I didn't create myself a blog here on WXC. What's going on?

to pangbai: I have that song. It seems like wusuowei already posted one. I am not sure if they are the same. I've been to Monterey before, but I couldn't remember if I had a picture of that tree. (I probably do, but I was shooting film at that time, and... I'd have to dump out 2 boxes (the U-Haul size) of slides, negatives and prints to know for sure.

to menxu: sorry you have to live in the US and have that Chinese mentality(unfortunately most of us do myself included, especially when it comes to issues like this). But, you need to evaluate what's right for your small family first. That's you and your hu*****and. Then, without inducing too much damage to your little family, what you can to do try to make your folks feel not too bad. Look at it this way, in all flight emergency instructions regarding oxygen masks, what do they say? Help yourself first, before attending your children or elderly or people travel with you. Why? Ever think about it?

to Ah-San: bears can't outrun colts. Brace yourself. That being said, there's no loser in this game. Both coaches are African American. This is huge.

I missed a lot in a matter of couple days. I can't acknowledge and comment on each one individually, like exiula's "tell/inform/nofidy..." and the africa trip, Maryland in independent's eyes(view finder, actually), 1234567's beijing dialect, DC's south carolina trip, etc, etc. Thanks for all these excellent posts, as well as all the funny/witty/(flirty?) comments. They are a good read after a long day's work/school.

ps. Got a qqh from "forum admin". It looks like that blog was created by wxc. I don't know why; but at least I can edit all the typos in my posts now.
