Don't you ask yourself a question why they did not write about it?

Journalist would write when they don't feel themselves is in danger.
Of course some exception happened that dedicated journalist may ignore the danger and take the responsibility. But a favorable social context is needed in a longer term for any sustainable society instead of depends on individuals.
