Because of the poor management of Brazilean government about its aviation system. I have absolutely no desire to fly domestic Brazil flights.
Recently there is a Mid-Air collision of a domestic Brazilian flight and an Embraer Jet - the domestic flight, a much bigger plane (i think it is a 737) crashed. The Embraer caught its wing clipped but miraculously landed in an airforce base without an idea what had hit it.
Many evidences pointed to the imcompetence of the Tower Control in Brazil but of course the government so far denied it. Both planes were directed by the Tower to fly at 37000 ft. The records of the Embraer showed the pilots have repetedly contacted the Tower but only gotten 2 responses out from over 10 attempts. The 2 American pilots of the Embraer are still being detained in Brazil - many months after the accident.
The event is recounted by one of the passenger on the Embraer Jet.

The accident and the subsequent handling of Brazilian government have raised many questions among the experts of Aviation Laws, as well as the pilot associations.
