**I had a Subaru before. That's the one I took to Canyanland. (I will write up that Colorado River Overlook Trail when I have time). I came back from that trip and got a Jeep. Yes the Subaru is a great car in snow. It's got better agility. Yet I like the 4x4 of the Jeep, its ruggedness, and its safety features.
Anyway, hope this helps to clarify some myths. I am not biased toward any make or model. I just want other people to make informed decisions.
