The most annoying part is the traffic jam that is everywhere. Sometimes you would go fast using the local streets instead of freeway, if you have a detailed street map from AAA. The street maps are so detailed that it takes 3 or 4 maps for the whole LA. Those maps only available at local AAA. AAA SoCal has a gorgeous office - a very beautiful Spanish Mansion Style building built in the 30"s - well worth to drop by to get your maps. :)
