Those who practice such "suffering march" in Asian countries usually dont bleed, nor feel the pain - their mind seems to be "transformed" and they dont feel the hurt - some Indians can sleep on broken glasses and not have a scratch on their backs, or they can walk over white-hot charcoal and do not burn their feet - it is incredible how the mind can make the body resist the physical hurt.
