Not necessarily-going in Sept. Could be rainy though

Went last year too and was really lucky with weather. Not considering weather, I think mid Sept is a good time too go. Not as crowded with people and bugs. Leaves and tundra are changing colors. Tours are still open. So many things to do there. You always have to test your luck with weather, though.
