完全个人偏好，我出门首选 Rough Guides 和 Lonely Planet，

Rough Guides 比 LP 介绍的背景要略多，当然不同国家各有千秋。若出门只带一本手册，特别是旅店行程尚未搞定，我就带其中一本。
DK 没用过， Insight 用过一本，都在书店翻过。优点是文化背景介绍的多，照片多，好看。缺点是吃住行方面实用信息少，书沉。
Let's Go 只翻过，感觉是学生写给学生，介绍的酒吧，hang out 一类地方比较多，文化背景少。
Frommer's 用过一本，感觉 coverage 窄一点，主要是 highlights。若想快快地知道一个地方有什么可玩儿，翻一下可以，只带它出门缺乏“安全感“。
欧洲还有 Rick Steves，不全但是精。
在美国走长途，我用AAA；大城市是另一套书，暂时忘记名字了。
