Depending on the side of Mt Rainier you visit. Mowitch Lake area, northwest side, is much rainier. East side of Mt Rainier (Sunrise) is much drier. Paradise is somewhere in between.
You'll most likely hit snow in Nov at high elevation. Best time to visit - Late July to Mid August for wild flowers and Sept for fall colors of alpine meadows.
