The View atop Mt Constitution-360 degree of snow capped mountains & pacific ocean all the way into Canada and south view of Mt Rainier!
Moran state park where Mt Constitution is located is also pleasant, imagine lake on an island surrounded by water. The whole island has that nice pleasant laid back feel.
From Canada, timing your trip with ferry schedule is tricky, I would think. There aren't that many ferries each day. Also, bring your own food since restaurants are few and far apart on the island.

As the site says: "No trip to the San Juan Islands is complete without a view from the top of Mount Constitution, the highest point in the Islands and arguably the best view in Puget Sound." I found this to be very very true.
