I know you are a good person. But I had to disagree with you on that "take one's hurt as triumphant of the other" comment. I don't think Ang Lee was trying to praise, criticize or even justify anything there. He was simply exposing those two men's lives in front of you, no judgement were passed. Audience can draw their own conclusions. I like movies in that direction, and strongly object films telling me what to do and what is right. I like the movie "Huo Zhe", because it was about life. I like this movie, because it's about beautiful and yet sad life, not due to controversial gay love. Just my 2 cents.
