林 wanted to go back to China but he was killed. So he did not go back to China. Even if he did, the result was not what he was expected. Some captured soldiers went to jail when they went back to China. The fact was what he was fighting for would not bring a result he desired either way. That's why I think he was brain washed. Of course, everybody is brain washed in someway. But people should compare information from all sides and make a fair decision. By the way, people in China cannot access this website. Chinese government is certainly brain washing Chinese by blocking the information.
