my extension H1b was applied on 9-1-2005. I moved my work from one university to the current univerisity on the same day. USCIS approved this application in 12-5-2005. In approved letter, the valid date is from 12-5-2005 to 9-1-2006.

So I wonder if there is gap from 9-1-2005 to 12-5-2005? thanks in advance.
