It seems I confused a lot with the H1b approval and H1b visa.

You mentioned I can apply for H1b this year for next year's H1b, do you mean that I don't need to leave US for the H1b approval notice? I only need to leave US to get H1b stamp/visa (and come back using that visa) if I want to switch back to H1b status, is it correct understanding?

This is good news for me.

Also want to confirm: I can't apply for next year's H1b approval before Apr 2007, right?
