A question about B2 visa

My H-1B visa will expire 9/30/2006, but my I140 has been approved and my I485 is still pending. I am planning to invite my father to come to the USA to visit us. What worries me is that the immigration people may assume I will leave the USA after 9/30/2006, and then decline my father's VISA application. Should I also send my father a copy of my I140 approval notice in addition to my H-1B approval notice so that my father can get a visa to stay in the USA for 6 months.
