Your liability is your low GPA. Admission committee would consider a GPA 3.0 student as an "also run" candidate, someone who is not sure what she wants. So unless you have some truely unusual experience, they will not give you a scholarship to keep you.

GMAT 600 would get you to a #50 school, but then you might be in a dilemma to be in such a school with less than %50 scholarship.
