with ANC YVR being open-jaw destination and JAC being stopover on inbound leg.
In my opinion, AAdvantage is the best program out there. I believe OnePlus also allows open-jaw and one stopover, but MileagePlus of United does not allow such if I remember it correctly.
The open-jaw and stopover essentially gives you 2 tickets for the price of 1 (mileage-wise). Plus AA allows you to change travel dates free of charge, provided there is award seats availability. Changing routing costs $100 per change once it is ticketed. Also AA let's you put award reservation on hold for 2 weeks and can be extended when you change your itin within the holding period, provided there is availability on the automatically extended days.
