Little Napoli is good. Better make reservation ahead.
There are many small shops and a beach at Carmel.
17 miles and Pt Lobos St pk are also nearby.
You can also go to the shopping center at Rio road and hwy 1, a little bit south from Carmel, there are some good restaurants there, too.
