-Arch (downtown)
-Buch Beer Brewer (downtown)
-City museum (downtown), not a real museum but a fun place for kids and anyone wanted to have some fun.

St. Louis Cathedral: church building, Pop John II once visit.
Bar and restraunts: bars and restranuts around 1)Lacled Landing(downtow), 2)University Loop, 3)Euclid Ave are unique ones for st. louis area. no Chinese there
On Olive Stree (east of HW170) there are couple of chinese restraunts, all of them are good
Lodging:
I thought most Chinese may not feel very comfortable to live in downtown, although more people move into downtown in recent years. There are couple of very nice hotel in downtowns. They are very expensive. Think about find some budget motel outside HW270 if you do not mind drive 20-30 minute to downtown.
