The tree is up with all its lights As Christmas day draws near We rush to find a special gift For those we love so dear In all our hustle back and forth I hope we don't forget The meaning of this holiday That history has set Of angels singing to a child Born in a mangers stall Who lived to die and give to us The greatest gift of all So as we feast and celebrate With family and friends Let us remember in our hearts Where Christmas day begins With hopes of peace and love and joy I wish you happiness And as the year rings in anew I pray your heart be blessed
