It is not bad to have a boy friend at high school. I told my daughter when she was 13 that she can date when she is 16. At that time she was not happy about that since some of her friends can date after 13. I told her thist is the rule in my family. Now, she is 16, she told me boys in her school are too ugly or too stupid and she has no boy friend now. I am ok if she has a boy friend. I myself had boy friend when I was 18 (in China). In America, 16 is a reasonal age to have a boy friend. I don't see any thing wrong with it.
