You mean I can resign after I get confirmation from lawyer that the application has been sent out to INS. I don't need to worry about being out of status since I can work ether after the app is filed to INS or a receipt is received from INS. Is the understanding right? really appreciate your responses, it did help. by the way, how long it took to receive the receipts for your and your friend's cases? thanx
