We have seen this question being arised for many times. I happened to talk to one of my co-workers, his lawyer sent a letter to American Immigration Lawyers Association, they replied and confirmed this: Using AP will not invalid H visa.
So if there is any question, for example, your employer doesn't allow you work as a H visa holder after AP, you should urge them to ask AILA.
