WA Olympic NP beauty beyond

your photos. These photos really do not show the beauty and uniqueness of this park. This park has a little bit of everything other parks have and a lot more - temporate rain forest (only one in continental US; one of the few in the world), rugged snow capped peaks, glaciers, alpine meadows, waterfalls, rivers, wild animals (some only found in this park), humongous trees, Pacific Ocean beaches, ... One of my favorite views is the one on Hurricane Ridge - carpet of wildflowers and alpine meadows, snow capped peaks, very much like the scenery in Sound of Music. The other side of this view is panoramic view of the ocean, the Straight looking across to Canada, and all the peaks. It is breathtaking and out of this world!
